The recent Annual General Meeting of the
Cootamundra Turf Club (CTC) saw a ‘changing of
the guard’ at the Executive level. Well-known local
racing identity, Jeffery Bristow, was elected
President, taking the reins from outgoing President
Greg Ewings.

“The club has recently experienced a turbulent period over the
past 18 months. Membership and volunteer numbers are
down in past years, and our club structure is now under
revision. The race track workload presents ongoing demands;
as a new turf club committee we too have our ‘Everest’ to
